Overview: We Can’t Wait BLOCK PARTY and CAR SHOW will be Sunday, September 6, 2020 between 12-6p at the corner of MLK and NE 23rd Street.

Children bord? Pandemic got you down? Come join the fun and bring your lawn chair!

We Can’t Wait BLOCK PARTY and CAR SHOW will be Saturday, September 6, 2020, between 12-6p at the corner of MLK and NE 23rd Street. The Block Party is being held to foster and support the OKC Black Community small business population.

 

 

Participants can expect to experience a various of entertainment, and shopping from around the surrounding Regions. Black-owned vendors around the Oklahoma area. There will be poetry, dance performances, car show, local artist, and most important FOOD, FOOD, FOOD. This will be a food truck foodies dream come true as there will be various food trucks for all tastes.

The event will enforce the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines and regulations in regard to COVID-19. Mask are required to attend this event. We will practice social distancing and sanitization stations will be available.  

The event will be patrolled and monitored by licensed security officers. 

Parking for this event will be available in three major locations: The Freedom Center, Ralph Ellison Library, and the lot west of Family Dollar on NE 23rd.
